Positions Available

Care Team Member

Have you been looking for an opportunity to learn more about the care of animals, proper dog walking techniques, enrichment of pets, help people and join a fun dynamic team? As a member of the Care Team, your job will be to provide exceptional care to all pets that come through our doors. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Handling pets of all different sizes and personalities
  • Keeping the shelter and all kennels clean
  • Providing adequate diet and ensuring each pet has a comfortable stay
  • Providing enrichment to the shelter pets
  • Organizing and stocking incoming donations
  • Other duties as needed

Medical Supervisor

Do you have vet tech or nursing experience?   Are you looking for a way to use your skills to help pets and people in need? As Medical Supervisor, your job will be to provide exceptional medical care to all the pets that come through our doors. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Run diagnostic tests
  • Blood draws
  • Operate centrifuge and blood work equipment
  • Give medications to pets
  • Fill prescriptions
  • Experience in surgery
  • Assist in public clinics
  • Animal handling and restraint
  • Excellent customer service
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Other duties as needed

Volunteer/Education Coordinator

Must have great customer service and be passionate about animal welfare education and community outreach.  Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Volunteer tracking and orientation
  • Planning and running children’s groups
  • Assisting with events
  • Greeting customers
  • Answering phone calls
  • Basic cleaning; laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc.
  • Other duties as needed

Adoption Team Member

Looking for someone who has great customer service skills to help our pets find their forever homes! As an Adoption team member, your job will be to find the best home for our pets and provide care for them while they’re at our Adoption Center. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting with potential adopters and gathering information about the home to best set them up with a pet
  • Keeping the adoption center, kennels and pets clean
  • Scheduling appointments for adoptions
  • Picking up donations from local stores
  • Attending adoption events
  • Assisting volunteers

These are a full–time positions – hourly pay plus benefits!

Flexible schedule needed – Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
